A CHRISTMAS STORY

The countdown to Christmas has begun on Broadway with "A Christmas Story", The Musical, the jolly new stage adaptation of the classic 1983 holiday film favorite.  Johnny Rabe stars as Christmas-loving nine-year-old Ralphie Parker, whose wintery wonderland is home to a cast of wacky characters, bunny suits, leg lamps and BB guns.
Remember sneaking a peek at your Christmas gifts before you actually got to unwrap them?  We feel the same way about "A Christmas Story", The Musical, the big Broadway adaptation of the 1983 holiday classic.  After a nationwide search, "A Christmas Story", The Musical has selected Johnny Rabe, a 12-year-old from Chicago, to fill out the bright pink bunny suite as the show's leading youngster Ralphie.
With music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul and a book by Joseph Robinette, the John Rando-directed production is set to begin performances.

It's A Wonderful Life

Based on the 1946 holiday classic, "It's A Wonderful Life" will be performed as a 1940s live radio broadcast and re-tells the beloved story of George Bailey.  As he contemplates suicide, Bailey receives a visit from his guardian angel on that fateful Christmas Eve.  The "live radio play" was written by Joe Laundry and will feature choreography by Lorin Latarro.

A SNOW WHITE CHRISTMAS

Described as an Interactive comedy, "A Snow White Christmas" will feature family-friendly magic, dancing (with "So You Think You Can Dance" alumni), a live miniature pony and contemporary music from Katy Perry's "Firework" to Huey Lewis and the New's "Power of Love" to Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and much more.  Each "Snow White Christmas" will also begin with a Winter Wonderland event, featuring holiday music, crafts, activities and games for families.

Broadway alum, Curt Hansen will play Snow White's Prince in the Pasadena Playhouse's production of  "A Snow White Christmas", a musical theater event that updates the classic tale in the style of a traditional British family panto.
